The Plant Ash Granulator is an environmentally friendly device that converts the ash residue after plant combustion into granular materials. When plant ash is transformed into granules, due to the presence of abundant substances such as potassium, phosphorus, and calcium, the plant ash granules can serve as fertilizers for soil improvement and can also be used as additives in concrete. Generally, for the plant ash granulator, a roller extrusion granulator, a drum granulator, or a disc granulator can all be employed. Here, we adopt the process technology of a dry-free granulation production line.
Pretreatment Unit: Remove impurities (such as metal fragments) in the ash residue through screening, drying, and magnetic separation.
Mixing System: Select and add binders (such as lignin, starch, or synthetic resin) to enhance the strength of the granules. It is also possible not to add binders.
Granulation Core Device: Adopt dry extrusion granulation.
Post-treatment Module: Include screening to ensure that the finished granules meet the standards.
It should be noted that when spherical granules are required and higher strength is demanded, it is necessary to add auxiliary materials and water, and then conduct polishing.
Particle Size: Usually controlled within 2-8mm to adapt to different application scenarios.
Energy Consumption Efficiency: The unit energy consumption of advanced equipment is lower than 0.05 kWh/kg.
Binder Dosage: The proportion of environmentally friendly binders needs to be lower than 5% to control costs.
1. Agricultural Field: Production of Slow-release Fertilizers
Case: In China, YaTi Company granulates the rice husk ash residue to produce slow-release fertilizers. Experiments show that it can increase the soil pH value and boost crop yields by 12%-18%.
2. Building Materials: Substitution of Lightweight Aggregates
Case: A certain building materials enterprise in Germany uses pine wood ash residue granules to replace 30% of traditional aggregates and produces lightweight concrete that meets the EN standards, reducing carbon emissions by 22%.
3. Energy Industry: Supplementary Agent for Biomass Fuels
The ash residue granules can be mixed with biomass fuels for combustion, improving the stability of the fuel's calorific value (the calorific value fluctuation is reduced to within ±5%).
