The ring die granulator is a continuous pressing process for converting powdery materials into granules based on the spaces between powder particles. Powdered materials are discontinuous loose particles composed of dispersed particles with a certain fluidity. Under the action of compressive force, the particles approach each other and rearrange themselves, and the gas between the particles is continuously removed, reducing the inter-particle gaps, increasing the adhesion force, and finally pressing them into granules of a certain density and strength.
